Founded on the road

Our story

The idea for Euroutes popped up in our conversations many times as we road tripped around Europe. Ultimately, we couldn’t find the inspiration online for the type of road trips we wanted to do; immersed in nature, wild overnight spots, discovering hidden gems and bringing along our four-legged friend.

Countless hours were spent inside our camper van researching, deciding where to go and figuring out a route from the hundreds of locations we had bookmarked, when really we wanted to be outside exploring. We made a few too many mistakes; trying to see too many places, cram in too many activities and paying too much for tourist attractions.

Somewhere along the way, we realised we had a lot of valuable experience that would benefit others. On the coast of Romania, we crossed paths with a couple that sparked inspiring thoughts and finally gave us the faith in ourselves to kick our ideas into motion. And so, Euroutes was created!

Meet the creators

Hey, we’re Rach and Harry, and Euroutes is our second baby (the first is Sandy, our rescue dog). We’ve been obsessed with the freedom of the open road ever since our first campervan road trip to the North Coast of Scotland.

We're just an ordinary couple, trying our best to escape the ordinary life for a moment or two. We love the way that road trips makes us feel, being immersed in nature away from the busy world encourages a sense of freedom and peace that we both crave. Our daily walks with Sandy and our obsession with undiscovered places help us to do this. If this sounds anything like you, the guides we have created will be a perfect match.
